Team HOVI recently enjoyed a relaxing morning paddle at Sproat Lake Landing. Its new Adventure Centre is the Alberni Valley’s only lake-side option to rent a Kayak, Canoe or Stand Up Paddleboard. We were impressed by the helpful staff, stunning scenery, and advantageous timing with the Coulson Mars Flying Tanker flying past. Soon after embarking, we exclaimed, “We need to do this more often!”
After our paddle, we enjoyed a mouth-watering, locally-sourced lakeside lunch and our thirst was quenched by refreshing Blackberry Lavender Mojitos at Drinkwaters.
